Inej
2022 Lipizzan and Kiger/Andalusian
Height: 15.1 hands, expected 15.3
Sire: 890 Maestoso Batrina
Dam: Cherokee Morning Breeze
Breeder: Jennifer Hartmann
UPDATE May 2025: Inej has started foundational training under saddle and we can't say enough about her sound mind and trainability.
Inej is a smart, elegant, and athletic filly by the star courbette performer at Tempel Farms, Maestoso Batrina. This eye-catching, charismatic girl is out of a mare bred by the esteemed Judy Yancey: Cherokee Morning Breeze, who is a GOV-approved, multiple premium foal-producing Kiger/Andalusian cross. Breeze's grandfather is the legendary Gaucho III. Owner Jennifer Hartmann sent her to Good Luck Farm for the benefit of growing up in a herd which is the tradition for raising confident young Lipizzan horses.
From Jennifer: "With her ability to collect, willingness to learn and smooth gaits, this filly is without question a future working equitation champion. Of course, the dressage arena will suit her very nicely, too. Whatever the job is, this filly wants to LEARN AND GO DO THINGS!"
